Manual Versus Electric Coil Binding Machines

After spending weeks on various presentations, which included many late nights in the office, the last thing you want to do is use a staple to present it. You will want your presentation to look as professional as the information inside. You can send it out to have it professionally bound, but this can get expensive. Your other option is to purchase a blinding machine and bind the presentation on your own. They are several different types of do-it-yourself presentation binding machines available. The most popular and easiest to use is the coil binding machine. These binding machines are perfect for small and large offices. They are a fast and cost-effective way to bind any and all presentations. Your presentation will have a professional look within seconds.

When looking to purchase a coil binding machine there are several features you will want to consider. The most distinctive feature to consider is whether or not you want a manual or electric binding machine. The manual binding machines will be less expensive but may not have as many features and be as quick as an electric binding machine. Manual binding machine will have a coil manual punch mechanism. This mechanism allows you to manually punch the holes exactly where you want them. Depending on the machine you are working with, you will be able to punch anywhere from 10 to 20 sheets of paper at a time. The larger manual binding machines will allow you to bind up to 92 pieces of paper read a 12mm coil.

When you use an electric coil binding machine, you will be using a binding machine that utilizes advanced technology. These machines are more heavy duty and can withstand larger jobs. This will allow you to bind larger presentations that use coils up to 25mm. Electric coil machines are manufactured with grooved rollers that are made from Teflon. They are designed to provide smooth coil insertion. A few of the higher end electric machines will have a diameter scale, diameter selector, along with an alignment channel. These features will allow you to generate continuous production.

Before you make your final selection, you will want to consider your usage and your overall budget. If you plan on using your coil binding machine on a regular basis, you will want to consider purchasing a heavy-duty electric machine. This will provide you with the features and options you need. If you only expect to use your binding the machine once in a while, than a manual machine may be a better option for you.
